About SJS Shopfitters

SJS Shopfitters was founded by Paul Miller in October 1993. Paul Miller started learning his woodworking skills as a student, leaving School in 1983 with an O Level (GCSE Equivalent) in woodwork.

After leaving school, Paul hoped that he would be able to gain an apprenticeship in Shopfitting and Bench Joinery. Not only did Paul achieve his goal of an apprenticeship, but in only his 2nd year won an award for being one of the best young Joiners in the South East of Essex, coming 6th in the UK.

Once Paul had finished his apprenticeship, he went on to work with numerous companies all over the UK, and also internationally. He was given the chance to work at some of the most prestigious buildings in London.

Paul’s career then led him to work for world-renowned Killby & Gayford, who have been specialising in joinery and building refurbishment. Working at many locations all over the UK. Paul was also given the opportunity to work at several Banks in Spain, Gibraltar and Gambia.

Finally, in October 1993, Paul started his own business, based in Essex, UK. SJS Shopfitters specialises in offering a range of on-site joinery services in shopfitting and 2nd fixing.
